Q: How long does a personalised order take?

Standard turnaround is 2-3 weeks from order to dispatch, plus postage time. Everything is made to order in our Melbourne workshop. If we are closed over a holiday period, we post a notice on the website with the exact dates.

Q: Can I get my order faster?

Yes. Select 'Rush My Order in 1 Week' from the Processing Time dropdown on the product page. It costs an extra $10 and your order is dispatched within one week. Rush is not available on painted items, as paint needs time to cure properly.

Q: What size topper suits my cake?

Our toppers are a standard size designed to suit a 6 inch or 8 inch cake. If you need a different size, tell us in the additional notes box when ordering. Exact width varies with the length of the name, but height stays consistent.

Q: Are the cake toppers food safe?

Most of our toppers are food safe and can be placed directly onto the cake. Raw MDF toppers should be inserted into a plastic straw first, so the timber does not touch the food directly.

Q: Can I supply my own design or image?

Yes. Every product page has an Attach File option where you can upload your image or artwork when adding the item to your cart. You can also describe what you would like in the additional notes and we will design it for you.

Q: Can I get a colour that isn't on the colour chart?

Often, yes. Contact us with the colour you have in mind and we will let you know whether we can source it before you order. Our standard range is shown on the Colour Charts page.

Q: Where do you deliver, and what does postage cost?

We post Australia-wide and do not ship internationally at this stage. Postage is charged once per order based on size: $13.95 for small items such as cake toppers, tags and keyrings, $18.95 for most standard items, and $27.95 for large items.

Q: Can I pick up my order instead of paying postage?

Yes. Choose Pickup at checkout and collect from our Hillside workshop in Melbourne at no postage charge. Victorian customers can also select Cash on Pickup to pay on collection.

Q: Do you offer wholesale pricing?

Yes. We offer three trade tiers with ongoing discounts for stockists and regular trade customers. Details and applications are on our Wholesale page.

How long does a personalised order take?

Standard turnaround is 2–3 weeks from the day you order to the day it's dispatched, plus postage time on top. Everything is cut and finished to order in our Melbourne workshop, so nothing is sitting on a shelf waiting to be posted.

If we're closed over a holiday period, we put a notice on the website with the exact dates so you know before you order.

Can I get my order faster?

Yes. Choose "Rush My Order in 1 Week" from the Processing Time dropdown on the product page. It costs an extra $10 and gets your order dispatched from our workshop within one week.

One important exception: rush is not available on painted items, because paint needs time to cure properly and we won't rush that at the cost of the finish.

What size topper suits my cake?

Our toppers are a standard size designed to suit a 6 inch or 8 inch cake. If you need something different, tell us in the additional notes box when you order and we'll work to your measurements.

Because names vary in length, exact width changes from order to order — a topper reading "Mia" will be narrower than one reading "Alexander". Height stays consistent.

Are the cake toppers food safe?

Most of our toppers are food safe and can go straight onto the cake.

The exception is our raw MDF toppers. For those, pop the pick into a plastic straw first, then insert the straw into the cake, so the timber isn't in direct contact with the food.

Can I supply my own design or image?

Yes. Every product page has an Attach File option — upload your image or artwork there when you add the item to your cart and we'll work from what you send.

If you'd like us to design something from scratch instead, just describe what you're after in the additional notes and we'll come back to you.

What if I make a mistake in the spelling?

Email us as soon as you notice, quoting your order number, at artisticsignagevic@gmail.com. If the piece hasn't been cut yet we'll correct it at no charge.

Worth knowing: we cut names exactly as they're typed. "ZOE" comes out in full capitals, "Zoe" with a single capital and the rest lower case — so please enter your wording exactly as you want it to appear.

Can I get a colour that isn't on the colour chart?

Often, yes. Send us a message with the colour you have in mind and we'll let you know whether we can source it before you order.

Where do you deliver, and what does postage cost?

We post Australia-wide. We don't ship internationally at this stage.

Postage is worked out on the size of your order, and you're only ever charged one postage rate per order:

$13.95 — small items such as cake toppers, tags and keyrings
$18.95 — most standard items
$27.95 — large items

Can I pick up my order instead of paying postage?

Yes. Choose Pickup at checkout and collect from our Hillside workshop in Melbourne — there's no postage charge.

Victorian customers can also pay by Cash on Pickup at the checkout if you'd rather not pay online.
